The Sirona inLab system is the most versatile dental CAD/CAM system in the laboratory marketplace. Already today inLab design and model files can be exported via Open. STL interfaces to be sent to third party processing. With inLab MC X5 we now also offer Open CAM import of 3rd party design files (e.g. from 3Shape®, exocad™, Dental-Wings™, etc.) to be imported and milled on inLab MC X5. inLab MC XL will follow with the same feature around May/June 2015. By then we will also be able to import any 3rd party. STL scan data making the Sirona inLab system the only laboratory system that accommodates the entire range of digital impression systems from CEREC via Sirona Connect to iTero™, 3Shape TRIOS®, etc. via STL. In other words: Only inLab user will be able to receive digital impression files from any system.
Open Architecture doesn’t stop at the digital workflow: Also when it comes to materials Sirona inLab is truly open. Whether it is standard 98.5mm discs for inLab MC X5 or non-proprietary blocks for inLab MC XL or inLab MC X5, you always choose the material that fits your restorations and business model best.
